Types of EV Chargers

Level 1 EV Chargers
Level 1 chargers come standard with most electric vehicles. They plug into a homes standard 3 pronged outlet. They typically charge the battery overnight. It could take over 20 hours to fully charge your car’s battery.
Level 2 EV Chargers
These more advanced chargers require their own 240 volt circuit that requires installation by a professional licensed electrician. Lever 2 chargers will provide a full charge for your electric vehicle much faster, typically in less than 4 hours. You may have even received a Level 2 charging unit with the purchase of your electric vehicle.
Level 3 EV Chargers
